Kondagaon district is a district of Chhattisgarh, India, and separated from Bastar district on 24 January 2012. with headquarters in Kondagaon.

It was formed on January 24, 2012 from the native district of Bastar, to the newly formed district.

After this, on 01 April 2012 the District Rural Development Agency, this  was formed, under which various schemes of Panchayat and Rural.
