Madhya Pradesh Nirman Divas, also known as Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day (or Sthapna Diwas), is an annual celebration held on November 1st.
- Historical Context: On November 1, 1956, several regions including Madhya Bharat, Vindhya Pradesh, Bhopal, and Mahakoshal were merged under the States Reorganisation Act to form the new state of Madhya Pradesh. Bhopal was chosen as its capital.
