Of Madhya Pradesh (Extra Ordinary) on dated 2.7.1998, the head quarters were fixed to Kawardha and the According to the notification, Kawardha district came into existence from date 6th July 1998, and after the notification of Chhattisgarh Dated 10 March 2003, the cover Name of the district was changed to Kabirdham
